About Bleacher Bound

Bleacher Bound is a small, independent operation that writes honest guides to Major League ballparks. Where to sit, what to eat, how to get there, where to stay, what to do around the park, and what is actually worth your money once you are through the gate. We are Bleacher Bound LLC, run out of Denver, Colorado, by a two person crew that would rather be at a game.

What we cover

Every park gets the same treatment. A guide to the seats, the food, the transit in and out, the hotels, the bars and restaurants around the park, a first-timer playbook, the history that makes the place different, and a month-by-month read on when to go. Twenty-nine ballparks are live right now, and we are still adding.

How we research it

We read everything we can get our hands on, then we check it against the real thing. Schedules, menus, transit maps, seating charts, and the stuff locals argue about online. But we go to games too, and when we are writing from a seat we have actually sat in, we say so.

A park only earns a rated mark on our rankings when one of us has been to a game there. Not a tour. Not a walk past on the sidewalk. Not a game at some other building the team used to play in. If we have not been, we do not pretend we have. Where we are working from research instead of a ticket stub, the guide reads like research, and you can tell the difference.

How the ratings work

We rate every park on the handful of things that decide whether the trip was worth it, on a simple baseball scale. You get our number, and once enough readers weigh in, you get the community number sitting right next to it. Where those two disagree is the most useful thing on the whole site. You can dig into all of it on the rankings page, and the full method is laid out in how we rate.

How this stays free

The guides are free, and they are staying free. Some of the links in our guides are affiliate links, so if you book a hotel or grab tickets through one, we may earn a small cut at no extra cost to you, and it never changes what we recommend. We also run display ads on the guide pages, and we sell a paid ticket price alert subscription with a free trial. That is the whole business: affiliate links, display ads, and the alerts. We spell out the ad and affiliate side in our affiliate disclosure.

Ticket price alerts

Add the games you are going to on your watch list and we track resale ticket prices across the major resale marketplaces and email you when a price is worth acting on. It is a paid subscription with a free trial, so you can see the plans and try it on your own dates before you pay for anything. The guides came first and they are still the heart of the site; the alerts are what we built next.
